Hope everyone had a kick ass Thanksgiving, ate too much food, and all the fun stuff that can happen when family, friends, food, and booze are all in the same place at the same time!

A big thanks has to go out to Adrian Prawica of I Rock TV fame for having us live in the studio on the 30th of November for our taping of his TV show ......

We would like to thank everyone that came out to JJ Kelley's on December 3rd, and for the people that were worried about the snow ... BAH!  Sfumato from Indy kicked ass, as did Breckenridge (who came out last minute, thanks guys!), and we look forward to more shows with these bands!

The Celebrities have a show coming up on the 16th of December at Gunther Murphy's, going to do the whole Christmas thing, then the 1st week of January, back to the studio, and then the I Rock TV special should be airing sometime in February, so stay posted, good things to come.

Everyday Celebrity has confirmed that they will be opening for the late eighties / early nineties rock group Firehouse (Love of a Lifetime, Baby Don't Treat Me Bad)! The show will be taking place at the former Oasis 160 in Chicago Heights, IL, now known as Mr. Kelly's Music Box! Bust out the Spandex and leather fringe jackets, it should be a rockin' good time!

Sound like the beginning of a bad joke?  Heard this one before?

Not this time! We'd like to thank James Link for inviting us out to the 9th annual Holbrook Fest, talk about an evening of debauchery! Good music, plenty of booze, and everything else we can't mention on this PG-13 website! Awesomely good time!

WOW! It's been a strange, but eventful few weeks in Celebrityville! Plenty of pictures from O'Malley's and the Q101 performance, but unfortunately, no drunken 4th of July pictures, and we all still have every one of our fingers and toes.  But first, let's have a quick recap...

1. - Tim Coffman, new guitarist. Talk about a perfect fit! With only a couple of weeks to prepare for his first Everyday Celebrity performance, Tim absolutely nailed everything! Not only did he bring his own style and ideas to the table, he is a great person to hang out with. We are all extremely excited to have a new collaborator, and friend within the inner workings of this sideshow!

2. - MOBFest 2005.  We would like to thank everyone with whom we shared the stage with, Egnaro, Temporary Buzz, Tonight Let's Be Hero's, Duna Hill, & Shadeland, each giving a stellar performance showing exactly why they were chosen to be a part of the MOBFest showcase. Also, we would like to thank everyone who came out to witness these performances. Everyone's fans showed as much enthusiasm for each performing band as the did for the band they came to see. VERY REFRESHING!

We would also like to thank everyone on the panels at MOBFest who took the time to give valuable advice and guidance. It really gave insight as to what steps to take in order to further a career in this crazy industry.

Last but not least, we would like to thank all of the talented performers that we had the opportunity to network with, share personal advice and stories, as well as share a common goal with.

3. - Q101 / the Fook Show / Do You Destroy? We were asked to perform a cover song on the radio approximately 6 days before the fact. No problem, right? Well, three of those days fall on the MOBFest panels, one day to decide and go home and learn it, two days to practice. Well after spending a couple of days to learn "Feel The Pain" by Dinosaur Jr., performing it live on the radio, and then freaking out about it while the voting was occurring.... the results come back at a whopping 93% that thought we had "destroyed", enabling us to perform our own original "Scream" over that airwaves, and to permanently become a part of the "Hall Of Destruction"! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to everyone out there that jumped online and called to vote. We appreciate all 93% of you (we also appreciate the remaining 7%, they make us try harder)!!

4. -  Sylvie's Lounge.  We would like to thank fellow MOBFest showcasers, Tonight Let's Be Hero's, for inviting us out on July 2nd to perform at Sylvie's Lounge. Unfortunately, Tonight Let's Be Hero's were unable to perform due to personal, non band related issues, but we performed with another talented band, Fallen, and a good time was had by all.

There it is, a quick recap of 3 crazy and intense weeks. As stated before, pictures will be posted very soon, so keep you eyes open!!

6/16/05 Special Announcement:

Everyday Celebrity is proud to announce a new addition to this circus we call a band…..Tim Coffman.

As luck would have it, Everyday Celebrity bassist John Patton was meeting a friend, and former band mate out for drinks, one Mr. Tim Coffman. Tim and John, having spent a few years together playing in Mind Shaft, a popular south-side Chicago band, and always remaining in touch after its resolution, always knew they had a chemistry together when performing. Well on this fateful evening, after a few drinks (or more), John gave Tim a copy of the Everyday Celebrity CD for him to give it a listen. A few days later, knowing that we had tossed around the idea of finding a second guitarist, Tim expressed interest and wanted to come out and get a feel for what Everyday Celebrity was all about. Lo and behold, all concerns about finding a second guitarist were resolved.

Having over 10 years of experience, playing many music conferences and major music showcases throughout the United States, Tim brings a new element and focused attention that has become expected by the members of Everyday Celebrity. Not only does all of his skill and knowledge add to this band, but he also has the personality that seems to be right at home among the Celebrities.

Quoting Tim: “I am extremely excited to be performing with a group of musicians who are as focused on their goals and expectations on what they want to achieve with their music as I am. I find it very refreshing to be a part of this.”

Having only 2 weeks to prepare, Tim’s debut performance with Everyday Celebrity will be at this years MOBFest showcase at O’Malley’s in Alsip, IL on Thursday, June 23rd.

Everyone, please welcome Tim Coffman.

3/12/05This is a personal message from Ryan Leigh:

Crash, Boom, Bang!@#?#@...........wow, did I ever realize that my dome light had three positions? That the ceiling of my automobile had beige trim? When did somebody burn a hole with a cigarette up there? Wait.....why the hell am I laying on my back, in my backseat, at 4:30p.m. when not even 10 seconds ago I was happily driving home? Was I gang probed by aliens? Twilight Zone / X-Files shit going on? War of the Worlds? Ghostbusters? Mary Poppins .......WAIT..... it's all coming back ..... Stop light ... waiting for green ..... minding my own business ... Jimi Hendrix on the radio ("Purple haze all in my brain..") ..... rear view mirror ..... uh oh ..... Crash, Boom, Bang!@#?#@ .......

Did that car really feel the need to sucker punch my car? What did my car do? Insult it's intellect? Tell it that it's trim didn't quite match it's shade of color? Make an inappropriate Mom joke? Balding tires? Was my car too sexy?  No one will ever know why cars decide to lash out at each other. Why can't all makes and models just get along? Is it because the Leather Interiors don't like the low class Cloth Seats? Hubcaps have it out for the Rims? Was my car on the Buick's turf?

Next thing you know, innocent bystanders, strange stares, apologies, sirens, cops, tow trucks, lions, tigers, and bears....oh my! Emergency room, doctors, nurses, x-rays......all of the great things that can take 5 to 6 hours.

Well......Ta Da!  Whiplash and a sprained wrist, and the fact my automobile didn't survive. She sacrificed her whole life to save the man who fed her (especially at $2.16 a gallon), bathed her, checked her oil, replaced her bulbs and treated her like gold.

In the end, I realize that I will always have the memories.....Mount Rushmore, the Badlands, Cleveland, Michigan, all the tickets, and near miss accidents. Yes....I will have the memories...oh yeah the  muscle relaxers and pain pills are nice too......
